Mr. Jay Wesley Cuff, age 71 years, passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital, on Friday, December 21, 2018. Jay was born in 1947 in Fort William, Ontario and lived his whole life in the Thunder Bay area. Jay had several careers, most notably his 30 years in the electrical industry and 16 years in the security sector. Jay also had the honor of previously serving as president of the Branch 5 Legion. Jay’s love of auto racing has spanned a lifetime. In his younger years as a driver/crewman, and later as a spectator on his many trips to races with his great friends Brad and Cliff. Jay is survived by his wife Cresencia (Daisy) Cuff, and his grandson Eric Von Roenn. He is predeceased by his parents Harvey and Frances, and his brother Terry (Heather). A special thanks to the staff of Thunder Bay Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospice for care, support, and assistance during this time. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 7pm in the Blake Funeral Chapel lead by Rev. James Pedwell. Visitation will take place one hour prior to service.
